Grand Opening of new Gift Shop at Country Meadows of Frederick

Sales were brisk on opening day of Country Meadows new gift shop. (December 9th)
"What a nice addition to the existing amenities offered here " (fellow resident Donal Peterson)
The gift shop will be open Monday - Friday, 1PM-3PM and is managed by resident volunteers of Country Meadows. Items for sale include:
  • Gourmet treats including crackers, cookies, nuts, popcorn, vintage candy, soups, coffee, cappuccinos, chocolates, and so much more
  • Bath & Body: Assortment of soaps, shampoos, body & hand lotions, etc.
  • Remembrance: Purchase Campus Pictures from fellow resident photographer, Ralph Blakeslee. $1.00 each. Large assortment of picture frames most under $8.00 (includes one free photograph)
  • Greetings: Cards, balloons, gift wrap
  • Leisure Time: Puzzles by Thomas Kinkade and other artist, Brain Games, Board games and cards.
  • Gift bags and baskets available

The Frederick County Veterans History Project hosted its annual reunion Saturday for participants and their families. More than a dozen of the veterans who attended live at Country Meadows Retirement Community, including Ray Dorsey, shown with Country Meadows marketing director Debbie Savageau.
